Probability is the chance that an event will or will not happen.
In order to find the probability of an event occurring, there are a couple of steps you need to follow. First you need to find the number of favorable outcomes. And favorable out comes just means the number of ways that you want the event to happen. What you’re looking for to happen, what you want to happen. That is our key word, “want”. Step 2 is to find the number of total possible outcomes, which is the number of ways an event could happen.
